I am interested in the study of social deviance. Within this general umbrella I have done research on the European witch craze; political assassinations; the Masada myth; betrayals and treason, atrocities; cultural memory; moral panics and drug abuse. My current research interests focus on fraud in science, war movies, and cultural cores.
